Dr. Elizabeth Shea, a Consultant Clinical Psychologist with a BA, BSc, DClinPsy, CPsychol, AFBPsS, and HCPC registration, brings 25 years of specialized experience to this training. Dr. Shea has completed extensive research in these areas, holds significant clinical expertise, and has authored two commissioned books. She has featured on the BBC and ITV and works with various statutory and VCSE organizations, including the National Autistic Society.
Eating challenges like ARFID, Pica, and Rumination Disorder are common among neurodivergent individuals but often remain poorly understood. This training, underpinned by research literature, clinical practice-based evidence, and lived experiences, aims to provide participants with a comprehensive understanding of these disorders and equip them with practical skills for effective intervention.
